Talk about self-quarantining overseas.
해외에서의 자가 격리에 대해서 이야기해 주세요.
STORY 01
To travel overseas these days, you need to get tested for COVID-19 72hours before departure.
요즘 해외로 여행을 가려면 출국 72시간 전에 코로나19 검사를 받아서,
You need to present a negative test result.
음성 결과지를 제출해야 한다.
Each country has different requirement for entry.
각 나라마다 요구하는 입국 조건이 다르기 때문에
You will have to prepare the paperwork accordingly.
그에 맞는 서류를 준비해야 한다.
When you arrive, they take your temperature and check your physical condition.
그 나라에 도착하면 체온을 측정하고 건강 상태를 체크한다.
Then, they take you to a quarantine facility.
그러고 나서 격리 기관으로 옮겨진다.
At the facility, they take your temperature every other day.
격리 기관에서는 이틀에 한 번씩 체온을 측정하고,
You get a COVID test at the beginning and end of your quarantine.
코로나19 검사를 격리 시작할 때 한 번, 격리가 끝날 때 또 한 번 한다.
The two weeks can be very boring.
2주간의 격리 기간이 지루하기 때문에,
You should prepare books or games to make the most of your stay.
시간을 의미 있고 재미있게 보낼 수 있도록 책이나 게임 등을 준비하는 것이 좋다.

Everyone get on the bus, and we were in quarantine for 14 days at a designated hotel.
모두가 버스에 탔고, 지정 호텔에 가서 14일간 격리되었습니다.
We could not set foot outside the hotel rooms.
호텔방 밖으로는 한 발짝도 나갈 수가 없었습니다.
We received boxed meals 3 times a day, but the food did not sit well with me.
하루 세 차례 도시락을 받았는데 음식이 잘 맞지 않아
I got by eating the instant noodles I had brought with me.
가져간 라면을 먹으면서 버텼습니다.
To pass the time, I watched a lot of movies and TV shows.
시간을 보내기 위해, 여러 편의 영화와 TV 드라마를 봤습니다.
Sometimes, I attended video conference.
때로는 화상 회의를 하기도 했습니다.
When I returned to Korea in December, I had to do it all over again for two weeks.
12월 한국에 돌아와서는 다시 집에서 2주간 격리를 해야 했습니다.
